She is the Director of the MNR Dance Factory and MNR Dance Team. She started dancing rather late in life at the age of eight at MNRDF. Alex was a core member of the MNR Dance Team for almost 13 years, winning numerous titles along the way including: “Dancer of the Year” in Calgary, Canada at age 12; Miss Dance Xplosion in 2006; Encore Elite Dancer in 2006 & 2009 to name a few. Alex is an accomplished choreographer in her own right, winning various choreography awards over the past 14 years.

Alex taught dance at MNRDF for 16 years, starting as an assistant teacher and summer camp assistant for two years. She’s taught all levels of ballet, contemporary, lyrical, modern, jazz, tap and jumps and turns classes.  Alex has also taught for the dance program at the Archer School for Girls.

Alex graduated from the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a Dance Major. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Architecture from UCLA in the World Arts and Cultures department in June 2009.

When Alex is not teaching, she is working as a Make Up Artist for Spectrum Access Sports for the Lakers, LA Dodgers and LA Galaxy, as well as for commercials and movies. She is also part time personal assistant to a film director and additionally works as a CSA with UBS, a financial services company.

Alex wants to thank all her young students, who are the reason she teaches, for being you.

She teaches her dancers not to let the fear of failure define you and let go.
