MISSION STATEMENT

Blak & Blue Dance Project is a non-profit entity that seeks to produce dance-based projects that benefit charitable organizations and/or for educational purposes.

Throughout the year, MNR DANCE FACTORY’s non-profit arm, BLAK & BLUE DANCE PROJECT produces events and fundraisers to benefit those in need.

For our annual dance recital, MNR Dance Factory and Blak & Blue Dance Project highlights a specific charity or company to align and assist with their financial needs through fundraising, silent auctions.

Our 30th anniversary recital celebrates 30 years of our iconic community center where dancers have grown up to become leaders in their community. We have curated songs from various recitals over the past 30 years to celebrate all the teachers staff members, artists and dancers and families who have walked through the MNRDF doors over three decades.

Continuing on with our tradition, each of our recitals, raise money and awareness for children's and women's charities. This year, we are once again raising awareness for WAM (Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement), created by one of our alumni dance, moms Maria Shriver. MNRDF has continued their partnership with Maria's company, in a fundraising campaign spinoff called Dance for Minds.
